01/18/2012 - Edmonton, AB (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Edmonton Eskimos have released kick returner Jason Armstead, defensive back Jykine Bradley, offensive lineman Chris Patrick and defensive lineman Joe Sykes.

Armstead had 62 punt returns for 486 yards and one touchdown and 35 kickoff returns for 684 yards in 12 games last season.

In 17 starts at cornerback last year, Bradley registered 31 tackles, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries.

Patrick appeared in 11 games at right tackle for Edmonton last season.

Sykes was limited to just four games (three starts) in 2011.

"We want to thank these players for their contributions last season to our success," Eskimo General manager Eric Tillman said.

The Eskimos also signed defensive back Michael Ricks, who signed as a free agent with the NFL's Baltimore Ravens and attended their 2011 training camp.
